Bring your family out to the launch to sample a variety of homemade chili submissions. Cast your vote for the best chili on Handy Lake.

Donations accepted to benefit the Handy Lake Waterfront Property Owners Association and beautification of Handy Lake.

A trophy is up for grabs, along with a cash prize. Best poker hand wins! Let's not forget about the appetizer contest. Bring your cash!

Our annual boat parade will be held on July 4th at 2:00 PM.

Our 4th of July parade has been a long standing event. The water war that takes place after the second lap has been added in recent year. Please be courteous and let those who don’t want to participate in the water war to leave the area.

This year we would like to encourage all participants in the parade to decorate their boats. These are always fun to see from shore. We will give recognition to the boat with the best decorations.

The parade begins and ends at the Melody Acres beach. At the conclusion of the first lap, once all boats have made it back to the beach to complete the first lap, the water war will begin.

PLEASE NO WATER BALLOONS.

Please no canoes/kayaks in the parade, as this is a safety hazard.
